omg. 2daes children's day celebration was not as good as last year's. what happened to the saying practice makes perfect?!??!?! haven't the teacher's learnt how to make the show as funny as possible?!?!?!?! BUT mr teo and mr seah looked hilarious as babies. their heads are too big for their baby suits. they looked un-proportionate.mr seah was giving this wierd face when ms tang, the devil, was poking him. his face moved so much that his bunny ears dropped off!!! =) it was funnier when ms tang tried to put it on for him, but it dropped off when mr seah continued making the faces. the devils stick that ms tang was using was the one that mae was using to poke ms poon... i think. lemme describe the entire performance in detail.
the first act was this shadow projecting thing. the teachers explored their creative side and they were to dress up as diff characters. everyone guessed mr ho the moment he stepped on stage. it was funny.
next was the project runaway series. the teachers dressed up for the event they were modelling for. there was one teacher who wore this really, really low cut top with long pants. she used a shawl to cover her back, and then, when it was her turn to model, she started loosening the shawl, and showing her bare back to everyone below. everyone started mumbling and the hall was really noisy.
after that, the crazy female teacher, who, accordding to kimmy and trishh, was dancing at the national day parade, and this malay teacher sang a duet. endless love by robbie williams. the male teacher was accasionally out of tune. the female teacher was fairly good, during the times when we could hear her. the music was scratchy. not that clear. the male kept covering his ear. must have been his singing.
following that, was the GEP teacher's performance. there was this big black cardboard that covered mr teo, ms poon, mr seah, mrs sng, ms lim sy and holding the board up, was ms ker and mrs. li. standing at the the side was mdm ang peng peng, huang lao shi, mdm loe, mrs lau and lin lao shi. at the end of their performance, they started trying to do the cancan. they failed. miserably. trust me. it wasn't nice. but funny. very funny. everyone was laughing. haha.ha.
that was the last performance. now, we were looking forward to the presents. we went back to class, with no teacher to toment becos we were walking back to class ourselves.
we got many presents. ms lim sy gave a goody bag that consists of maggie, a clip and a packet of cola sweets. ms ker gave a laminated card and a goodie bag made out of napkins!!! that is so.. artistic. ms lim ch gave precious thoughts magnet. ms poon gave a flower clip and a card. ms tan gave a card,with a peg, and a pen. mr teo gave me 3 m'n'm. mrs sng gave us stickers with our names on them!!! that is so cool. ms tang gave us a ice cream stick with a hand-made star on the top. zhang loa shi gave us the same brand of pen that mrs chin gave and sweets. (pls notify if i have left out any teachers)
we watched twilight kitchen during art and through english, which mrs sng very nicely gave up. she only had one period.
the day ended with mr teo bringing us to the GE resource rm. yiming cheryl and me beat mr teo at rush hour!!!
it was a nice day. mae and i went to bother all the teachers and ended up chatting with them till 4.10
